Blindsight

There is a movie you can find it in the internet, it's called the ''Blind-sight'', and the story of this movie is that there is an American blind man called Eric who has decided to climb the highest mountain in the world with a group of a blind Tibetan kids and it's called the Everest mountain.

The movie has many types of  cultural diversity like the German woman who opened a school for the blind in Tibet. The American man who took the blind kids to the mountain and they are both Christian. The culture of Tibetans is Buddhism and they thought that the blindness is a punishment for something wrong done in a previous life. The support is different also, like with Eric's father and his support but the Tibetan woman who said "without eyes a man is not complete.

There are many challenges the people face in the movie like the lack of oxygen because they are climbing the highest mountain  in the world and that is why the oxygen has been reduced .Other challenges are that they are blind and the kids are climbing the mountain for the first time in their life.

And the Chinese kid (Tashi) hid his identity because he was believing only Tibetan kids could join the journey, and the  story behind the Chinese boy is that he was sent away to live with a Chinese family and he was beaten badly if he failed to bring enough money by begging; also when the money was stolen from him.

A challenge caused by personality rather than culture; the bad treatment that Tashi has received and the Chinese couple who beat the blind beggar; all of these could be done by personality  rather than culture.

The benefits for the people in the movie as a result of their differing cultures is that the trip has increased their confidence and also for the young girl who has learned the English language may have the chance to become a teacher in her school.
